Points for everyone! Our pencil sharpener was eating pencils, so my husband took it apart. It had plastic parts that were cracked, and he could see why the pencils were getting chewed up. Pencil sharpener I remember this as I was growing up, in school. Years later, I found a similar one at a garage sale and used it for years. Finally it started chewing up the pencils rather than sharpening them. I saw this one in the Vermont Country store so I decided to pitch the old one and get a new one. This sharpener is amazing!
