Nice but not durable. The spread was true to size and does cover a 17 inch mattress and the box spring. The hemming is shoddy, it is not folded and hemmed but is merely overcast stitched. The fabric is thin but looks nice on the bed. May 29, 2013

Simple bedspread only at VT Country Store For over a year I have been looking for a simple bedspread like the ones I used to have in the 1940's and 1950's. There doesn't seem to be any on the market. At department stores and catalogs all I could find were comforter-type bespreads beginning at $98 and up. Then I found it in Vermont, and the price was way lower than $98. February 27, 2013

I used this year-round . . . . . . because it's lightweight in the summer, but I also like a light spread on top of my flannel sheets and blanket or comforter in winter. My dog sleeps on the bed, too, and the plisse spread is great for keeping linens clean--at a great price. I've been alternating between two Ecru King spreads for at least two or three years, and they're now looking a bit worn. Imagine my disappointment to find I can no longer get the Ecru in King size. None of the other colors will work. I hope it will be available again. November 24, 2012
Exactly what I wanted I was actually looking for a "sheet" to lay on top of my top sheet because my dog sleeps on the bed with me, and he constantly gets the top sheet dirty. I didn't have a thin enough blanket, but I happened to see the plisse bedspread on sale in the catalog, and thought, "perfect!" And is it!! Light enough for any weather, looks like a bedspread, and washes beautifully. In fact, I just ordered another one, so I'll always have a clean one handy. Thank you. November 15, 2012
color is way off The material on this bedspread is very nice but the color of the item vs the color shown in the catalog is quite different. The actual color is bright! Almost neon. Yikes, not what I wanted in my bedroom so I had to send it back. October 23, 2012
