Safe footing on decks and steps
We have a large wooden deck and once or twice a year we get ice or snow pack and this mat gives us a walkway of sure footing. You can put it down before or after the ice or snow. I prefer after, anyway, it sticks to the ice or snow and doesn't slip. I even cut three pieces off the end to put on each step rather than just letting it hang down to the steps. It's cheaper than most mats and for someone who only has occasional problems with ice and snow it is a great alternative. When you're through with it just roll it up and stick in the back of a closet some where. Mine has lasted at least 5 or 6 years and the only problem I've had is my cat has been using the same closet to nap and evidentally has played with it and shredded it. Needless to say I need a new one now. So don't let your cats play with it. Actually don't let your cats even know you have it.
