Excellent Jar Top Opener We have an original jar opener of this same design and love it so we saw it at Vermont Store and sent for it. And it is even better than our original model -- it will do bigger jar lids and it is of excellent quality. It is the jar opener that really works and I would not be without it. Disappointed I was very disappointed when it arrived. The handle had a piece of the wooden handle missing. I didn't have time to return it because it was a gift & I hand to send it to them. I did send the return label with it & apologized to them. The person is an artist so I have a feeling she will just touch it up with matching paint. I have never had anything like it before when I bought threw a catalog. March 4, 2013
I Can finally open large jars I buy large jars of food that have 4 1/4 inch lids. Every jar opener I have ever bought will only open jars with up-to a 3 1/2 inch lid. I just bought my second Twister Jar Opener in case I misplace my original one. This jar opener also opens very small lids. I have not seen this opener for sale any where else. It works. My family had one of these when I was growing up and was thrilled to see that you still carried. I'm 69 and active but jars are getting more and more difficult. This is so easy to use and it even works on the oil cap in my car! September 26, 2012
Grandma's jar opener I have one of these I inherited from my grandmother and it is probably close to 100 yrs old (more than 80 anyway).
