Memories from years ago. I was born in the 40's and remember these trees. I saw them in your magazine and wanted one. Also, the bag of gumdrops that came with it are so good and fresh. January 24, 2013
High Quality Tree My grandmother always had a gumdrop tree, and she passed it on to my mother. In the past we have purchased other gumdrop trees, but they were cheaply made. These are well made and worth the money. Gumdrop trees are a great tradition! January 18, 2013
There really is a gum drop tree! As I was preparing for Christmas Eve, I asked my grandsons, what else would you like to have for the party? Matthew replied a gum drop tree! Okay, I use to have one when my daughter was a little girl. Well, I was so please to find the gum drop tree and gum drops at the Vermont Country Store. When I received the gum drop tree I said to my grandsons "look what I have a gum drop tree for you to make! To my surprise Matthew said wow, I didn't know there was really a gum drop tree...I just made that up! They were truly delighted and the boys and myself are still enjoying the gum drops. Retro Gumdrop Tree Have been asked by several people it this tree was from my childhood. Everyone seems to remember having one as a child ( I had never seen one before) but I thought it was cute and that my nephews would love it. They did, and my husband loved having one of his favorite treats easily accessible! Hope that my friends find their way to your site! I did give them your web address!!! January 2, 2013
Remembrance of Childhood We were a very poor family, but one of the things I remember was doing the gumdrop tree every year. A treat to do, to see and to eat!! I hunted for it in stores this year - then received your catalog and bought it to share with my 3 and 5 year old grandchildren when they came to Indiana from Montana this year. Next in line, the cream candies my mother always bought only at Easter. Thank you!! January 2, 2013
What a disappointment I had only had my tree about two weeks when my son walked by the buffet it was on, didn't bump it didn't knock it off on to the floor, but the little stand that holds the tree up broke, January 1, 2013
It wotks, but! The limbs and trunks are flat. The "olden style" are round. Looks great!! Can not use little gum drops, I tried, use gummy bears instead. December 31, 2012
Brownie (or Gumdrop?) Points As the daughter-in-law, I scored big points this year with the gumdrop tree. My mom-in-law was reminiscing the other day about the gumdrop tree she had growing up. When I gave her the box (we were decorating the house, so the early gift was justified), she actually squealed. And let me tell you....being the in-law, I usually don't get a great reaction like that. Thanks for bringing us a little bit closer together this Christmas. December 21, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Gumdrop Tree …

"I haven't seen one of these gumdrop trees since I was a child in the 50's. My brothers and I loved to poke the gumdrops onto the branches. Of course, we enjoyed eating them even more. I'm going to order one of these for my grandson and maybe even one for myself." - Susan Evans, Springville, UT

"My family, when I was growing up, would go to Buckroe Beach Amusement Park where we would spend our summer nights for one week having fun and riding the rides. My most special memories were paying $.10 and pulling a string and winning a prize! I pulled the string one night and won the Gumdrop Tree. Many (many) years have past and my mother has used that little gumdrop tree every year somewhere in the kitchen for us to pluck the gumdrops off when we visit over the holidays. So, I would like to get one for my family and give one away to a friend." - Cathy Reiner, Richmond, VA

"Reminds me of when I was a little girl picking gumdrops off of the same one like this one. I did this for my children. Now need one for my grands." - jamie, charlotte, NC

"We are ordering this for my dad, as he remembers his mom having one @Christmas time years ago and hasn't been able to find one...this will be a nice suprise for him." - lisa ketcham, plymouth, IN

"Like so many of your products, the gumdrop tree brings back sweet memories of Christmas growing up in the 50s and 60s. I used to love to add gumdrops as they disappeared. The tree was almost bare by Christmas day. Between this item and the barley pops I can revisit my childhood with my daughters over the holidays." - Maureen, Mooresto, NJ
