The Victorians decorated their trees with colorful tiny icicles like these, originally made from strips peeled off old tin cans and then twisted. Each is spiral-shaped to reflect light in a surprising way, more like real icicles than ordinary tinsel. Once you see these on your tree, you'll never use disposable tinsel again. Includes threads for hanging. Container of 24 comes with 6 each of red, blue, gold, and green.

  • Each icicle is 6"
  • Bright jewel tones of red, blue, gold, and green
  • Tin icicles reminiscent of Victorian times

Spirals of color brighten your Christmas tree in an old-fashioned way.

Victorian Colored Tinsel Tin I purchased a set of these tinsel icicles for my granddaughter last Christmas and she loved them. I bought her the silver-colored ones, which I actually prefer to these. These are more expensive and come fewer to a set. If you must have color, though, you can't go wrong with these. I purchased 3 sets to use as gifts this Christmas. May 29, 2015
Gorgeous The way this tinsel catches the light is really delightful. We plan to have it for a long time---and will definitely get even more for next year. Great product! December 22, 2014
Catches the light nicely I purchased the colored tinsel last year to provide a little more interest on a tree that was mostly covered in round ornaments. My niece commented that they were her favorite decoration because they caught the light and make the tree sparkle. I like that they are a nice weight. December 3, 2014
Remembering Christmas at grandparents I bought these last year because they were similar to ones I had inherited from my grandparents. When they arrived, they were the exact same size and material as my originals. I re-ordered another set this year because they worked so well on my tree with our antique ornaments. January 20, 2014
tinsel doesn't have enough sparkle I bought this tinsel because I thought it would be usable for several years. They are smaller than I expected, don't come with any hooks, and are difficult to hang. And they just don't catch the shine and sparkle as much as they do in the picture. January 7, 2014
Just like when I was a kid I still have about six of the original icicles from our family Christmas tree from the 1960s. I couldn't believe it when I saw that they are still made today. I purchased two sets and they look just like the originals. January 5, 2014
Wonderful addition to my Christmas tree I had about six similar pieces of tin tinsel that came from my Grandparents, used by them throughout the years on their tree. I love how my antique ones add to the tree and wanted more. These are just what I wanted. December 11, 2013
Vintage Christmas tree!! I collect vintage ornaments and these are a perfect addition to the tree! November 25, 2013

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Victorian Colored Tin Tinsel …

"My mom had the spiral tin icicles when my brother and sister and I were growing up. I thought they were so pretty under the tree lights when they twirled around. My mom carefully strung them with thread so they would be sure and twirl. I kept them all these years and even tho' they are over 50 years old and not as shiney, they have great memories. So I was amazed to see that someone else still remembers them. Thanks, Gwen Frederick" - Gwen Frederick, Denver, CO
