This tree was so cute!! My whole family loved it. It was super easy to put together and was something different but beautiful for our family christmas. I plan to use ot for many years to come. Very well constructed. I do recommend it very highly.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Hemstitcher Nice, but REALLY like the 60's? Not Really.
I loved 'the 60's'! The majority of my furniture is Danish Modern, and from the 60's, so I wanted a tree from the same era. A few years ago, I purchased a 'retro style' 6 ft. aluminum tree on an after christmas sale from our local department store, for only $5.00. (Apparently, no one else in town was too interested in walking down memory lane, so I did get an excellent deal.) I knew exactly what I was buying, so if I wasn't satisfied, it was my own fault. That one really was pretty flimsy, but for $5.00, what the heck! I used that one for a few years, but really wasn't at all satisfied, so when I saw this particular tree advertised, I decided to buy it.
It arrived yesterday, so I hurried and put it up. I really was rather disappointed. Yes, it's pretty, and in reality, it is nicer than my cheezy $5.00 one. BUT, what isn't mentioned is that the 'ends' of all the branches have WHITE 'needles' mixed in with the silver ones. I suppose it's so that it looks like snow, but that really rather defeats the purpose of having an aluminum tree in the first place, in my opinion! So, the trunk portion is silver, and the majority of the branches are silver, with the exception of the front ends. However the front 'end' is what you actually SEE when you look at a christmas tree.
In the pictures in the catalog and the photos online, the tree does look rather 'white'. I attributed that to the 'flash effect', but it really is rather 'white'. So, is it really the same as the 60's trees? Nope! Is it pretty? Yes! And it's certainly 'fuller' than the original aluminum trees. it's probably as SIMILAR to the 60's trees as we are going to get in 2015.
In reality, the good memories we have of 'a 60's Christmas', are probably influenced by nostalgia, and remembrances of the traditions, cool toys that were under the tree, and just the happiness that goes along with being a child at Christmas time.
That said, I decided to just keep the tree, as well as my 'memories' as long as I can until Alzheimer's, or some other form of dementia strikes sometime in the 'hopefully far distant' future!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Hobby Farmer Can't wait to display this tree!
In the 60's my and my husband's parents had the aluminum Christmas trees with the color wheel. This year and for years to come we are going to display this tinsel tree. It was easy to assemble as was the color wheel. It will bring back good holiday memories for our family and friends and create new ones.

I ordered this tree and I am very pleased with it. It is a typical retro silver tree and we have taken it out of the box and it is very easy to assemble. As soon as the color wheel is back in stock I will be buying that!!

This has been a sad year as my dad passed away in July. I wanted something different, even though we have a choose and cut tree farm. I wanted retro but I couldn't afford them. Then I saw this tree. I saw the reviews and decided to buy it. When I opened the box I was so excited with the shimmering of the tree. It was so easy to put together. I didn't even have to ask my husband to help. For the 6 ft tree there were 3 sections. Once together I spread out the limbs and it was just beautiful and everything I had hoped for. I highly recommend it.

I purchased the 4 foot tree several years ago because it reminded me of the tree my grandmother had some 40+ years ago. I still have a real tree every year as my Christmas tree and set this one up in a different room to use as my winter tree. I decorate it with pine cones, berries and birds and keep it up well into March. One year I even kept it up through Easter and had eggs hanging from it. It will be enjoyed for many years to come. Who knows, maybe a red, white and blue 4th of July tree?

This is a very nice tree for a tabletop tree. It looks just like the larger one my grandmother had in the 50's and 60's except she had the color wheel. Thank you for bringing back memories,

I was afraid this would just look cheap, but it's really lovely and old fashioned looking. Perfect.
