lovely and lightweight
This is the perfect bedspread for warmer weather. Very pretty, feminine, and delicate. Hard to find this type of bedspread. I prefer an actual bedspread as opposed to comforters and quilts. I like the neat appearance of actually being able to tuck it under the pillows.

Misleading description
This floral bedspread is described as diamond plisse.
Plisse as shown in the catalog is a puckered fabric somewhat similar to seersucker. Diamond plisse turned out to be a smooth flat fabric with a diamond pattern stamped on it. The picture of the floral bedspread is smaller and less detailed than the other plisse spreads shown and I incorrectly assumed that if the bedspread was called plisse it would actually be a typical plisse. The bedspread's weight is closer to that of a good quality bedsheet and the green vines are blue-green rather than a soft true green. I would not recommend the floral diamond plisse spread but I would recommend the pastel stripe seersucker bedspread which I bought earlier this season; it is a really nice product.
