These percale sheets are very pretty and remind me of my childhood sheets. However, even with the elastics (that I bought at your store) on the corners they are still to deep for my mattress and bunch up on the bottom fitted sheet after a few nights. I'll get better at stretching them tight, but I wish they wouldn't make the pocket so deep (14").

Beautiful and Soft
I bought these sheets to replace older percale. These are even softer to the touch than my old ones and prettier too! I am thrilled with the purchase and would definately buy them again.

Like Percale I Grew Up With!
I ordered these in king-size, ivory. The feel of climbing between these sheets is absolutely heavenly! I haven't slept under sheets like these for years! They are soft yet crisp and cool feeling. They are light-weight, so will be good for warmer weather, especially. They are generously cut, with ample room to get the fitted sheet over the mattress, and plenty of extra sheet on each side of the flat. I washed them in warm water as directed. I have learned to dry only ONE sheet at a time with today's sheets (especially king) to avoid excessive wrinkling. It IS worth the extra time and DOES work. I dried these between low-medium....very important from my experience. Yes, they will still come out with slight wrinkles, but nothing bad. They smooth out good enough to suit me, and I am picky. I only gave these four stars because the flat sheet came out with several deep creases in the top hem of the flat sheet, and the sides were somewhat creased and drawn under after washing as well. I ended up ironing the creases, something I really don't want to have to do every time. Other than this one issue, I really do love these sheets.

Love these sheets!
I have looked eveywhere for sheets for my king-size bed. These sheets from Portugal are perfect! The fitted sheet fits properly and eases over the corners nicely. The top sheet is long enough for the mattress and has plenty of drape over the sides. They are well-made and easy to care for. I am very happy with this purchase (especially because I have paid more and gotten less). The patterns are whimsical too!

This product is wonderful!
I bought a bed a year ago with a memory foam top and love it, but I was always too hot sleeping on it. I told my neighbor, âI wish I could find some percale sheets like I grew up with!â She told me she had the solution; she brought your catalog over to me, and I ordered these sheets the very next day along with the matching cotton flannel sheet blanket. Yes, they will wrinkle if you dry them too dry, but Iâll put up with some wrinkles to get that wonderful great nightâs sleep of my childhood! Itâs worth getting an iron out to iron the pillow cases since I like them really smooth! The matching flannel sheet blanket is just perfect here in Florida! Thank you, Vermont Country Store!
