I bought the satin pillowcases because I wanted something silky smooth and soft but they were very stiff and rough. They were not what I was looking for.

It's true...satin pillow cases do reduce hair tangles and skin wrinkles when you wake up in the morning. This is my second set of two because I want to leave one at my sister's house for when I visit and one in my overnight bag for when I travel and still have two at home. The quality of these is very good even after many washings (for the first set). I like the zipper because it keeps it on the pillow. The price is reasonable as well.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Ms Sunshine This product is wonderful
I am impressed with the quality of the pillows. They are made with double seams which results in non fraying, which is usually common when dealing with Satin material. I highly recommend these pillow cases .. Sleeping on satin pillows is a whole new experience.
Plus the price of these pillows is excellent.

After first wash, the stitching holding the zipper ripped out and raveled. Otherwise, very nice.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Dollhouse keeping satin from fraying
These cases are so soft especially with washes. However the first ones I ordered did begin to fray at the zipper seam. I received new ones and got the sewing machine out and added an additional seam on top of the existing seam. When sewn originally the seam didn't catch enough material to prevent fraying. So if you try these cases add another seam or two and when washing zip up the case and insert into a lingerie bag as this seems to help with fraying too. The material is definitely kind to hair and hairdos!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Winy Poor workmanship from China
I have purchased these pillow cases over the years & needed some new ones. I was horribly disappointed in the workmanship of the new ones. The zippers catch on threads & the ends of the zippers are folded over into the overcasting on seams. Why must you use Chinese manufacturers or where is their quality control.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Sookee Curly Girl Frizz
I have fine and dry curly/wavy hair, in the Curly Girl vernacular, I'm a 2B, 2C, 3A mash up of wavy curls that frizz if over handled. After trying all sorts of tricks of the trade to maintain my 'first' day curls, I saw these satin pillow covers on our recent trip to Vermont and after mulling over the idea, ordered them online and they are lovely to sleep on and actually look pretty on my bead. Only downside, but not a deal breaker, they easily slide off the bed...especially when my four fur babies (rescue pups) take over my bed. Finally, they launder beautifully...important to note that!

When I received the pillow cases I was very please with the feel and the added zipper. What a great idea to keep the pillow actually in place. After just one time in the laundry the area around the zipper became frayed. OK, could deal with a little fraying. After just a second time in the laundry it became quite difficult to open and close the zipper. The zipper has completely pulled away from the fabric on one case. Have continued to use them but without closing the zipper. Will not reorder. Bummer!!!
