I had been looking for a woolen mattress pad which covered the sides. I was not blown away by this pad because the wool is course, doesn't look anything like the pictures...so be it. It still does a decent job for a foam mattress...allowing the comfort of the foam, but my other mattress pad, which is fluffier, was more comfortable but didn't cover the sides of the mattress. I think this pad is expensive for something I'm not 5 stars about. In all due respect, I purchased this pad because I like VCS in general and knew I wouldn't get ripped off. I like supporting this type of company.

Arthritic shoulders
Made for a miserable nights sleep.... Recalling conversations between grandmother and mom ( who was a nurse) wool mattress pad covers was an excellent choice to regulate bed temperature...... wool a natural fiber wicks alway excess body heat...... Naturally stain resistant, a perfect natural product....

Perfect for my gel memory foam
I have a gel memory foam mattress and this product was the perfect accompaniment to it. This improved the air circulation under me and thus improving the cooling effect. I seep so soundly now. The lack of circulation with the memory foam alone would sometimes cause me to wake up in a sweat. This product has eliminated that issue.
