Very similar to a design made by the late, lamented Bates of Maine, this 100% cotton Heirloom spread is made by former Bates employees. It boasts the regal medallion and leaf pattern and the scalloped fringe our customers have always admired, and is woven with higher-quality thread from America and Europe. Machine wash and dry. Made in USA.

  • 100% cotton

Rated 5 out of 5 by Handsome bedspread Having purchased a seersucker spread from the VCS, knew I'd find something perfect for winter. Wanted something heavier but attractive. Even though a little pricey, am more than pleased with my selection. October 14, 2015

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Heirloom Spread …

"I was very pleased to receive the bedspread and pillow shams. It makes my bedroom look 100% better - just love it." - Geraldine Daughtry, Taylorville, IL

"I still have the Bates Heirloom spread my mother gave to me for our full size bed when I was first married. I have used it over and over...washing and drying it and putting it right back on the bed. Then after purchasing a Queen size four poster bed, I reluctantly put my "heirloom" away in the linen closet. However, it didn't stay there long. I had a custom made bed skirt made for the new bed, and thought I'd try the "old" spread on to see how it fit. It looked beautiful with its fringe hanging over the top of the bed skirt instead of touching the floor. It looked like something out of Mount Vernon. I still use the "heirloom" when my "new" quilted bed set is in the wash. How old is my beautiful Bates? Well, my great granddaughter just turned one in September. I'd say it is at least 40 years old." - Anne, Hampton, NH
