Tufted Striped Bath Rug
uncomfortable to stand on
I guess i'm different than everyone else who likes it. I find that the uneven texture (the "stripes" are produced by having different thcknesses alternating) is quite unpleasant to stand on, and even worse to try to walk. if you have any kind of arthritis or tendon problems in feet, you may be like me and not like it. I also find it's needlessly thick and heavy, though i do like that there no vinyl like another poster said, and the color (blue) is attractive - that' why i'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. (i got the smallest size, and i don't find it a very aestethic proportion though i know it's a standard size). i would send it back but it's not cost effective so may try using it as an entry rug for when i'm wearing shoes.

Chenile reversable rugs without that rubber backing are hard to find these days. These are nice and thick, too. The blue color is best described as aqua, however. I can tell from the excellent quality that they'll last for years.

'Love That Vintage Look!
My grandmother's bath rugs looked like this, so it's a comforting look and still the best style. Also, the color is perfect in my bathroom, and I love that they wash so easily!

So soft and comfortable to step out on!
I'd had my eyes out for a while looking for bath mats, but nothing ever caught my eye. Then I remembered Vermont Country Store (where I've bought other things, but never this sort of thing). I found what I was looking for immediately, and it turned out even nicer that i expected! I always find quality service at Vermont Country Store.

Thank goodness for "Old Fashioned Store Keeps"
Thread bare would be an understatement for our old rugs. Now imagine shopping for 2 years with no luck and just happened to open The Vermont catalog and there they were. I was excited to just find some to replace the old ones. But to my delight, this product was AMAZING. Thick plush under the bare feet. I look forward to many years of wear. Thank you Vermont for selling the "old stuff". I intend to order again.

Just what I was looking for
It should be simple to find a reasonably priced, washable two-sided cotton bath rug with no vinyl backing to disintegrate over time in the washing machine. But it wasn't. After giving up on local sources I remembered seeing two-sided cotton rugs in your catalog. There was what I was looking for and at a good price, too. The rugs arrived -- attractive, durable, washable, just what I wanted.
