Pure granulated Vermont maple sugar is better sweetener choice compared to refined white sugar, plus it's much more flavorful. It brings a host of minerals and antioxidants to the table, including calcium, iron, zinc and manganese. And it can be used 1:1 as a substitute in any recipe that calls for sugar (although it's quite sweet, so you may want to use less) and can be reconstituted to make a batch of maple syrup in a pinch. Simply mix sugar with enough water for a syrupy consistency. 1 lb. bag.

  • 100% pure Vermont maple sugar
  • Delicious in baked goods and stirred into coffee
  • Add to heavy cream and whip into soft peaks for the perfect pumpkin pie topping
  • Our secret for a no-fuss ham glaze
  • Just add water to make "homemade" maple syrup

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sugar: I've been thinking of Maple Syrup and found Maple Sugar. I decided to go for the Sugar on the grounds that I could just add water and make my own Syrup. I'm glad that I bought it as it doesn't overpower coffee or anything else needing sweeting with the Maple flavor. Just sweet and it doesn't spike the blood sugar. I have found that the one pound bag doesn't last very long. Would like to buy it in a heavier bag. Richard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a wonderful find. My sister and I took a bus tour through the old cities of Quebec and discovered we really liked the maple sugar with tea. I was very pleased to find that you have the maple sugar in a powdered form which is even better. Whenever I have a cup of my favorite tea sweetened with your product, I think about what fun we had and how much we learned. We live 8-10 hours apart, so only get together two times a year or if we're lucky 3 times. So thank you for a wonderful product that really brings back good memories. Bet you'll never guess what her birthday present is going to be this year?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great gift idea Vermont granulated sugar is the best hostess gift on the planet. I travel with 8 to 10 1 pound packages to give friends and relatives a tasty treat of maple syrup. I would buy even more if you would bring back the powdered maple sugar. It truly transforms oatmeal and freshly buttered and powdered toast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cutting a Bit Too Fine I have been ordering your granulated maple sugar for a number of years. I have lived through the various changes in packaging that you have tried. For my last few orders the Zip-Top packaging has been great. But, you surprised me with my latest order. You went back to the old crimp top package and, although the package was marked "Granulated" it was very close to powdered. Now I'm going to have to wonder what I will get the next time I order. Will it be the good, sealed package? Will it be truly granulated? Guess I'll have to wait and see.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maple Sugar adds just the right amount of sweetness! I have been trying to watch my sugar intake. I adjusted an apple crisp recipe which originally called for two-thirds of a cup of white sugar. On the top, I sprinkle three teaspoons of delicious maple sugar with a handful of walnuts. This addition of the maple sugar provides a more delicious dish than the original. It is expensive, but you can use way less and get superior flavor.

One of them is a soft sugar cookie, which I dust on top with this wonderful maple sugar! Everyone raves over them and everyone appreciates them. Also use in my pancakes. A great find!!
