Rated 5 out of 5 by Gramma's Stuffing The common crackers that I ordered from Vermont Country Store are very hard to find! These crackers have been used by my family for generations to make a stuffing for Thanksgiving turkey and Sunday chicken dinners. My local grocery store stocked them for a while but then stopped. Because I love the stuffing so much, I remembered that my mother wrote to get more, I believe from your store, many years ago. I am so glad that you still have them and know that I will continue to order them in the future. April 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by the real common cracker These are the real thing. Nothing like a few common crackers to go with the chowder. March 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by good crackers These crackers remind me of my youth. They are worthy of the name. They go extremely well with the Vermont cheddar Cheese. I had that combination for lunch until I ran out of crackers January 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Need the crackahs for your Chowdah! I teach a cooking class called Chowdah! At the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. We make seven chowders and Boston Cream Pie. Class wouldn't be complete with some split, buttered and baked Vermont Country Store Common Crackers - thanks so much! January 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vermont Common Crackers - Life's Necessity Native Vermonter who was raised on and depends on Vermont Common Crackers. Just disappointed that they have been removed from retail sales outlets like my local grocery store. January 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Purchased them for over 30 years! In 1983, I visited Vermont and had my first Vermont Common Cracker, and I was hooked. They are delicious warmed and with butter on them. Room temperature with peanut butter or jelly or both. Split them in half, and slather on both sides. Since then I have been ordering them from The Vermont Country Store because I am no longer near Vermont, and they are not available in Pennsylvania. For a delicious treat when watching TV or having friends over, they can't be beat! January 12, 2015

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Vermont Common Crackers …

"My mother grew up in Waitsfield, Vermont, and a favorite memory from her childhood (and beyond) was having a nice bowl of homemade soup with what she called "Montpelier crackers." Alas, she suffers from Alzheimers and while many of her memories have left her, she still remembers these so fondly. I was so happy to find them here at Vermont Country Store - I'm back to place a second order. The first were fantastic and just as she remembered her Montpelier crackers. Thank you, Vermont Country Store!!" - Teresa, South Salem, NY
