Rated 5 out of 5 by Chowder Salvation! I was recently hospitalized for extreme hypertension. After discharge, I was plaed on a nearly sodium free diet. I so missed having prepared soups and chowders due to their extremely high sodium contents. Your Salt Your Own New England Clam Chowder is my salvation! The sodium content is gloriously negligible on my new diet. January 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tastes like real clam chowder This clam chowder is perfect. It is not artificially salted like many of today's soups, which gives it a real clam chowder taste. Love it. January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Low sodium is always heathier Perfect if you’re already used to low sodium. Delicious with no milk at all or with half a cup of clam juice. It’s my ‘go to’ meal on a chilly, rainy day. December 19, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst clam chowder I ever tasted Chowder is much too watery and doesn't taste good at all, regardless of how much salt is added. April 3, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing We all have different tastes, BUT, I found the chowder to be very thin. Taste did not improve much with salt added. Ample clams but it did not taste as good as many other clam chowders that I have had. SORRY! February 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yummy New England Style Clam Chowder Excellent chowder. I would recommend that the directions be expanded to include using either whole milk or half-n-half. Current directions simply state to add milk. I normally use skim milk, but that leaves the chowder way to "soupy". January 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by clam chowder was the world's best. the chowder was mailed to a friend in Kansa, a very cold country. She has done nothing more then rave about how great it was, she has eaten all 3 cans, and I will be sending her more soon. December 26, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Thin chowder Ah, New England chowder. Well the can says add 1 cup of milk...but it made a chowder so thin I thought it was a backwards Manhattan chowder. Next can will be with a little milk. I expect New England chowder to be thick. December 6, 2014
