Traditional Irish Stew Made with Wine and Guinness Stout for Authentic Flavor

$14.95 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Pin it on Pinterest Share on Google+

This traditional Irish stew is based on authentic Irish farmhouse recipes (the beef version from County Antrim, the lamb from County Cork) that call for combining high-quality chunks of beef or lamb with potatoes, baby carrots, green peas, and onions, and then patiently simmering them in a mixture of Guinness Stout, wine, and a variety of seasonings and spices. The result? Rich, hearty Irish stew with a full-bodied flavor and a subtle maltiness courtesy of the Guinness. Be sure to try both varieties and keep plenty on hand for a quick stick-to-your-ribs meal. 28 oz. can.

  • Traditional Irish stews made following Irish farmhouse recipes
  • High-quality beef or lamb blended with lots of veggies, Guinness Stout, wine, and select seasonings
  • Rich, flavorful, and full-bodied
  • Simply heat and serve

Very Good! I thought this stew was very good. I ordered the beef type. I love the stout/wine flavor. Although, I wish it had a bit more beef and vegetables. April 6, 2014
Stew Just Average Stew very mealy and barely any meat. Expected it to be from Ireland and it was from TEXAS (sheesh). Disappointing. February 20, 2014
This Stew is the Greatest My Dad used to cook a stew just like this stew. During season and if he was lucky, he would use venison instead of beef. He passed away over thirty years ago and it's always nice to take a walk down memory lane with this stew. January 27, 2014
Authentic Taste My husband and I enjoyed the lamb Irish stew for dinner, and it was very hearty and tasty. The lamb was a bit fatty for me, so next time I'll try the beef. January 24, 2014
HEARTY IRISH STEW WAS DELICIOUS We enjoyed this Irish Stew so much that we ORDERED MORE. The meat was tender and the stew was full of veggies. The wine and stout might be a bit strong for some, but I served it with a crusty bread and we all loved it. December 29, 2013
Hearty Irish Grub This is the first time I've had Irish Stew and I love it. The texture is thick and it has a healthy helping of lamb. I bought two cans and have one left for a special occasion. November 28, 2013
Good Flavor. Never had canned Irish Stew . My husband and I enjoyed it. On a night when you need something quick ,good toi have in the pantry. November 21, 2013
Very Good! While I have eaten stew on a number of occasions this was the first time I ever ate one with Lamb in it. It was so good and flavorful! I look forward to having this again. October 28, 2013

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Irish Stew …

"This stew was how I like it, thick and with flavor. The beer taste is noticeable but not too heavy." - Bob, Sterling, VA
