Rated 3 out of 5 by Great for Soups I like that they do not get "mushy" too quickly. I also like to just put butter on them and eat them with the soup. I prefer the plain ones to the cheese flavored, but that is a personal choice. February 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by First taste begs for more! The first Common Crackers we tried were the cheese crackers; we haven't yet tried the plain. They are outstandingly delicious--a faint hint of cayenne and the hit of very sharp cheddar. We have been having them with Jane Brody's African Yam soup, sometimes with a bit of cheddar on the side. I'm looking for an excuse to order more! December 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Crackers They're crackers. Nothing special. Slightly addictive. Tasty. Beloved by my kids. Please continue to make them. November 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great snack or meal I love to eat these with a nice cheddar as lunch, which is in fact what I did today. I washed it all down with cranberry juice, but a piece of fruit like a crisp apple would have been nice, too. To me, they are too big to have with soup, but definitely attractive with cold cuts. It would be nice to be able to order things like this in advance as gifts, but I don't think you do that. October 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not how they tasted in store. I was very disappointed by the product sent to me. When we were in your store this summer I bought these crackers. My husband loved them. The order we received were stale. Can we return them for a fresh box? I'm afraid to open the other box to try them, because they came from the same batch. October 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by "BEST of the BEST" It is always such a pleasure to deal with The Vermont County Store. Their quality in products AND "one on one" help(should you need it) is WAY ABOVE anything you experience today. Their Vermont Common Crackers are a MUST HAVE in our home. We were hooked the first time we tasted these old fashioned delights in their VERMONT STORE. Thank you to the staff and owners of this place that "Always makes my day happier"... October 5, 2015

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Vermont Common Crackers …

"My mother grew up in Waitsfield, Vermont, and a favorite memory from her childhood (and beyond) was having a nice bowl of homemade soup with what she called "Montpelier crackers." Alas, she suffers from Alzheimers and while many of her memories have left her, she still remembers these so fondly. I was so happy to find them here at Vermont Country Store - I'm back to place a second order. The first were fantastic and just as she remembered her Montpelier crackers. Thank you, Vermont Country Store!!" - Teresa, South Salem, NY
