TERRIBLE Many things that you have are very good, this soup not being one of them. It is just a thin bean soup that I could buy much better in the store. June 6, 2015
Vote Yes! Hope this soup never gets vetoed. Very tasty and hearty. Wonderful with ham and carrots added. Don't forget the corn bread! April 21, 2015
attention: bean soup lovers! You may think the "other" bean w/bacon soup will do, but just taste the Senate Bean Soup, and you'll never want anything else! It is rich, full of beans and other ingredients. It took me back to my childhood when my father was in the Navy, and we had lunch together on a ship. It can't be beat! March 31, 2015
BEAN SOUP WE LOVE THE SENATE BEAN SOUP!! MY HUSBAND'S GRANDMOTHER MADE IT OFTEN BACK IN THE DAY AND IT BRINGS BACK WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF HER AS THE FLAVOR IS SO CLOSE TO HER HOMEMADE. WE ALSO LOVE THE CLAM CHOWDER. LIVING IN TEXAS, IT IS GREAT TO HAVE THE "REAL" CHOWDER TO ENJOY. March 16, 2015
Navy Bean Soup Oh my! this Navy Bean Soup is to die for. Absolutely the best I have eaten in years. I can understand why it is still served in the Senate's Dining Hall. Trust me you will not be disappointed if you purchase this soup. And more than likely; such as I had thought....."Wished I would have ordered more" March 16, 2015
Good soup I am a soup lover so had to the bean soup. It was good but not special. Maybe I expected more for the price. December 22, 2014
Best soup EVER! The first time I ordered this bean soup was to give it as a gift, since we live near Washington DC, and were giving it to a visiting relative, thought it would be neat! I gave her a can and we kept a can. Didn't think it would be any better then my mom's bean soup, but an easy meal. Wow, was I surprised! This is really the best bean soup I have ever had! Seasoned to perfection, I could easily eat the entire can....but I don't, I share. It's become my favorite soup, and my husbands when he knows I have it in the house! December 13, 2014
Pleasantly Surprised My wife is not a big fan of bean soup, but she went along with my purchase since I was looking for a ham-free bean soup that had a good flavor without any meat products. We were not disappointed: now I understand all the fuss over the Senate dining hall bean soup! June 19, 2014
