High quality oil with great flavor. I brush it on chicken before baking, use it in marinades and in homemade salad dressings. Very flavorful and versatile. A good product. March 20, 2013
good cooking oil This is a good cooking oil, and healthy, but I don't know that I will order it again---just because it is thje kind of thing I can buy locally without paying shipping charges. If it is not available locally, it is an excellent product of its type January 20, 2013
I'm an avocado gal! I love avocados ... as a nice addition to a cold salad, as a garnish to a main dish, or in guacamole and other recipes. I love that something so tasty is good for you, too. That's what intrigued me to try Vermont Country Store's Avocado Oil. I've used Avocado Oil in place of olive oil to make a delicious balsamic salad dressing. I've also used it to saute' fresh vegetables and in cooking delicate fish, such as Chilean sea bass and Mahi Mahi. The distinct avocado fragrance comes through, but the flavor is never overpowering. This has been a wonderfully flavorful surprise that I intend to keep as a staple in my kitchen from now on. November 10, 2012
