This is a good Winter meal product. A friend's grandmother always made Polish food for her grandchildren and gave it to them when they were out playing. I heard of this dish but it was not one she brought out. So I tried it. February 11, 2013
convenient I prefer the Hungarian stuffed cabbage but for older people who can't/don't cook, this is very convenient. The price is high though so it should be used as a "treat" rather than an every day item, especially if you are a senior on a small fixed social security income. Each can feeds one person only. Just like my Grandmother's! My Polish grandmother loved making golumpki, aka stuffed cabbage. Unitl I found them here I've never had any that came so close to tasting just like hers. These stuffed cabbages, when warmed on the stove, are delicious! Maybe because they're made in Poland! Thanks Vermont Country Store. November 9, 2012
Like Babci's stuffed cabbage!!! My husband and family love Golabki. I tried to make stuffed cabbage like my mother in law but for some reason its just not the same. When I bought Golabki for the first time I knew I hit the jackpot. Everyone loved it and I didn't have to do any work. I think it might even be better Grandma's, but I won't tell her that. We are hooked and you will be too after one bite. It's delicious....see for yourself!!! November 6, 2012
