The crackers were great. The Vt crackers were great as usual. The bland taste goes great with extra sharp cheddar cheese. I am a senior citizen and remember when the crackers were larger and we would toast them on a wood stove at our camp and then put butter on them YUMMY. We definitely will order them again. You can't take Vermont out of this gal and her hubby. May 14, 2013
Can not get them anywhere else! Besides getting the regular instead of the cheese that I had ordered, they are good! May 7, 2013
Un-Commonly Good I purchased common crackers for Christmas to serve with cheese. I have not had them in years, and was delighted to find the same crisp and crunchy delicious flavor that I remember from years past. Our son loves them in soup, and I love to split them and eat them with butter and jam. Any way you have them their un-commonly good! Brings New England back home to me. March 15, 2013
BIG AND DELICIOUS! I got a new bag today...need to order the tin for keeping in the pantry. These are the plain, big chowder crackers! I love to take a half cracker, put on a little butter, and heat in the oven for a few minutes. Oh, are they ever fantastic with VCS Clam Chowder! March 2, 2013
Just refilling my cracker can... A long time ago, I purchased the cracker tin with the cheddar crackers. If I don't want my husband to eat them all in one sitting, I have to hide the tin! Great natural cheddar cheese flavor. February 15, 2013
Pre milking supper In the 1950's before we started milking our 60 cows, we would always break half a dozen or so crackers into a bowl, pour on milk and a healthy amount of maple sugar. This would hold us over until supper, when milking was done. It still holds me over today at 72 years old. I still have 2 of the original large tins that hold the crackers today. February 12, 2013
Somewhat confusing I ordered two refill bags of the common crackers, because we really love them. I like the cheese flavor the best, but thought I'd try the mini size also. Imagine my surprise when both bags contained the exact same size crackers. The labels matched my order, just not my expectations. Are the minis supposed to be a different size? No problems really, they all taste as great as ever. Just confused. January 9, 2013
Cheesy Christmas - Part 2 part of same gift as "cheesy christmas - part 1" -- I LOVE these cheese crackers! (glad they did, too-!!) January 3, 2013

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Vermont Common Crackers …

"My mother grew up in Waitsfield, Vermont, and a favorite memory from her childhood (and beyond) was having a nice bowl of homemade soup with what she called "Montpelier crackers." Alas, she suffers from Alzheimers and while many of her memories have left her, she still remembers these so fondly. I was so happy to find them here at Vermont Country Store - I'm back to place a second order. The first were fantastic and just as she remembered her Montpelier crackers. Thank you, Vermont Country Store!!" - Teresa, South Salem, NY
