Great and Gluten Free I fixed this for the first time this morning. It was creamy and tasty. I can't have gluten and corn causes me blood sugar problems as it is metabolized as a sugar. This tasted a lot like grits and I enjoyed it a lot. thanks for the great product. The one person that said it turned into a lump may have been trying to cook it in the microwave or something. Delicious with salt OR sweetener! This was my very first time trying Cream of Buckwheat. Always preferring salty foods over sweets, I was pleasantly surprised to read that they could also be eaten as grits. I love grits but try very hard to avoid corn. Well this Cream of Buckwheat is DELICIOUS eaten with butter and as satisfying for me as grits! I also ordered the cookbook from the company. A great purchase, especially for those trying to avoid grains. February 6, 2013
Product Tastes Awful! Bought this due to ad stating it helps lower blood sugar levels. Figured the extra fiber would also help. But when I made it according to package instructions, I got your basic mortar material! It was tasteless and so thick I could cut it with a knife. After I ate it for breakfast, I could not eat anything else all day. It got into my digestive system and sat there for 3 days! I am returning two boxes and will give away the other one and the one I already opened. Sorry I bought it. I would rather eat Cream of Wheat or oatmeal. September 25, 2012
Absolutely Delicious! Cream of buckwheat has all of the satisfying taste appeal of cream of wheat, rice and oatmeal but none of the grain-related drawbacks. It is satisfying but doesn't add to the carbohydrate load the way wheat does. I recommend it to everyone. August 25, 2012
