Love this Clam Chowder! Can't believe it's from a can. We have friends in Vermont who gave us a Vermont Country Store gift box some years ago with the clam chowder. We have ordered it every year since with the Common Crackers, both for us and as Christmas treats for our friends. Everyone loves it. Creamy, tasty, lots of clams. Enjoy! August 21, 2014
This chowder was terrible. I've bought this chowder here before and it was good. Not this time. Was disappointed. I grew up in New England and I've had a lot of clam chowder over the years, both homemade and canned. This chowder was watery. June 7, 2014
Finally found a Clam Chowder that is as good as homemade I was relocated to Austin, TX in 1994. I missed New England and especially the fresh seafood and of course my favorite, New England Clam Chowder. No matter what brand I tried, nothing even came close to the New England Clam Chowder that I would get in New England. Then one day, as I was placing an order for my "real" Vermont Maple Syrup, I decided to order some Clam Chowder from The Vermont Country Store. I was totally "blown away". It was truely as good as the clam chowder that I would get back home. It was full of clams and the flavor was unbelieveable. I have and will continue to order this chowder from The Vermont Country Store and do share this story with anyone who is looking for a fantastic / delicious New England Clam Chowder! February 7, 2014
