I remember when I was just a kid working in my Mother's confectionary selling drops much like these. And swiping a few as the day wore on. Yours are just as tasty.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bill M 50 years of Horehound Drops!
My Horehound Drop story starts 50 years ago. In junior high when my voice was to change my child's voice went away and nothing came back. I whispered for weeks, maybe months, unable to answer in class. My Doctors were no help. An old Pharmacist suggested Horehound Drops. I enjoyed some, that night, to humor my parents and in the morning a deep mans voice came forth. I enjoyed them occasionally for the next 45 years, when I could find them. In 2010 my eldest son was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. For 2 years the treatments were ugly, painful & futile. Without the comforting Horehound Drops from Vermont Country Store he would have given up much sooner. Thank you for keeping this product available. May God Bless You.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BonnieB My 98-year old father adores these
Dad, who will be 99 in February, adores your horehound drops. He uses them when he has a cold or tickle in his throat that makes him cough. He shares them with other residents and employees in the retirement community where he lives, so he expects me to keep him well supplied with horehound drops.

When I was a small-town kid the local drug store kept a keg of horehound drops on display. You could buy a large scoop full in a paper bag for five cents. The price has risen some, but they're still a tasty bargain.
