Folks from all over the country have written in to request this once-common supermarket staple. We found it—not in the small packets you remember, but in a larger, more economical 15 oz. bag. About 3 tablespoons turns a 15 oz. can of tomatoes into the star of your Italian feast. Also adds zip to soups, stews and meatloaf. Foodservice size yields approx. 18 pints of sauce.

Salt, Sugar, Dehydrated Onion, Potato Starch, Spices,
Maltodextrin, Garlic Powder, Beet Powder (color), Dextrose,
Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Partially Hydrogenated Cottonseed
and Soybean Oils, Guar Gum, Carrot Powder, Modified Corn
Starch.
This product contains no added MSG beyond the small amounts
naturally occurring in autolyzed yeast extract.

Great sauce mix! When I was dating my now husband we lived 100 miles apart so we would drive to each others homes on alternate weekends. I loved going to his house & have him cook for me & one of my favourites was his spaghetti sauce which he made using Spatini. After a while though he couldn't find it in the store so he stopped making me spaghetti dinners because he couldn't find a replacement. I was shopping on your website & found you carried Spatini, both my husband & I were delighted, me even more so because now he doesn't have an excuse to not cook me a spaghetti dinner! Back again! Italian spices for the Irish We're an Irish family whose only concession to 'new' foods was eating fish and spaghetti during Lent. Spaghetti meant Spatini. Some tomato paste and Spatini and we were eating Italian. That was in the 1960s. Imagine my dismay when Spatini disappeared off the supermarket shelves. I'd have to start all over again, trying out different ready-made tomato sauces. Well, I'm done with that - Spatini is back! Back only at Vermont Country Store. It comes in big pouches that I put into a canister like I do teabags. A couple of teaspoons of Spatini and my tomato paste base and I'm back in business. This product is great I have used spatini for many years. In our family this product is a must have for all types of pasta dishes, and meat sauces. However, this product is very hard to find on the east coast. I have not seen spatini mix in the last 7 years. I just rec'd the spatini as a Christmas gift, I was so happy, to get it I used it that day and now I no where to order my spatini .Thanks again for having this product in your store. January 8, 2013
Favorite spices for sauce Used Spatini for so many years to make tomato sauce, meatloaf, etc. I added it to soups also for an extra kick. Was so disappointed when they discontinued making it. Was always hoping I would be able to get it back. What a thrill it was to see it advertised at the Vermont Country Store. I ordered two packets and am sure I'll be ordering many more. January 5, 2013

Memories Return We had a fairly large family....6 children. With that many mouths to feed, we needed meals to fill those tummies. As the years went by and the children departed to the largwer world, meals grew smaller and habits changed. I hadn't used this product for years and had nearly forgotten it when the youngest daughter asked me if I had seen Spatinti lately. We both checked many stores and no luck. So I was looking through my Vermont Country Store catalogue one day and ....lo and behold there it was...our once beloved Spatini. I sent for it that day. We split the package because we both live alone and don't prepare large meals anymore. The taste was so welcome and enjoyed. Brought back the memories when we had that large group at mealtime and the fun that always went with the dinner.
