after along search I have been looking for a good scrapple for a long time. I'm very happy with the product. April 22, 2015
We finally found a place to get scrapple. When we moved to Washington state we couldn't find scrapple. We were used to having it when we lived in Maryland and thought it was just something we'd have to do without. I told my wife that your store has it and we ordered. I forgot what it tasted like after eleven years. It's good to have it again. Thank you for carrying it. April 6, 2015
A Welcome Gift In Lancaster, PA there are many brands of quality scrapple available. A friend of mine who loves scrapple moved to Georgia, where the selection is quite limited. I was looking through your catalog and saw scrapple being offered, and I sent him some as a birthday present. He was delighted. Ironically it is made by Leidy's, which is near Lancaster. It was their "gourmet" packaging, which is not readily available. Worked out well! February 23, 2015
Brings back memories of my grandmother. This scrapples is so good. It reminds me of my childhood visiting my grandparents in Maryland. I ordered scrapple from VCS several years ago and it was not very good, came in a can. This new scrapple is really great and I am so happy I found it here. I will be back for more. February 16, 2015
Scrapple Not strong enough. needs more liver. December 31, 2014
Those days are here again! I can't believe I found the scrapple like my grandma used to make when I was a kid. We did our own butchering in Virginia and of course made our sausage, pudding, and scrapple. I like to slice and fry it really crispy and have with eggs and biscuits. Thanks so very much for making this available! December 29, 2014
Almost like Mom's My mother has German heritage and I grew up with scrapple every winter. Mom would cook pork ribs, remove the meat from the bones, add large amounts of white cornmeal and sage. It always made a good breakfast or supper with applesauce. Your scrapple does not have as much sage as Mom would add, but it is the best I've tasted outside of her's. Thank you so much for bringing something so good to your site. November 25, 2014
Good Eating I was born and lived in North Carolina for many years and was raised on Liver Pudding (Livermush) and I thought to try your Scrapple because it looked a lot like Livermush. However, the spices in Livermush is slightly different than your scrapple. I liked your Scrapple well enough to buy it as a substitute for Livermush. I like making an egg, cheese, and scrapple sandwich. It's delicious. I also like a warm scrapple and mustard sandwich. Eating these sandwiches reminds me greatly of my childhood. September 26, 2014
