Some people knew them as Garibaldis, others simply as raisin biscuits, but whatever you called these long, flat cookie bars, they surely have been missed since they disappeared from supermarket shelves. Crisp in texture, each not-too-sweet biscuit has a hefty helping of dried currants baked right in, which adds that familiar fruity tartness to every bite. And since a single biscuit measures about 7¼"x 2¾", it's perforated so you can divide it into five easy-to-eat sections. Garibaldi biscuits are the perfect complement to tea, coffee, or ice-cold milk. Each 3.5 oz. package contains 2 long Garibaldi biscuits.

  • A hefty helping of dried currants is baked right in
  • Each package contains 2 biscuits
  • Each biscuit can be broken into 5 easy-to-eat sections
  • Set of 5 packages

Find old-fashioned treats that are still as tasty and wholesome as always at The Vermont Country Store. Garibaldi Biscuits are a perfect complement to tea, coffee, or ice-cold milk.

GARIBALDI BISCUITS DON'T LAST IN OUR HOUSE! I remember growing up in Maryland eating these since forever it seems. We used to buy them at the food market, then all of a sudden they disappeared from the shelf. We have been receiving The Vermont Country Store catalog for years, so I decided to order them. The only thing is, they never last long in our house! The only disappointment is that you sell 5 packages instead of 6 for 17.00 as before, but I'll still buy them! Thanks VCS R. Mathews May 13, 2015
Reminds me of my childhood snacks! I lover these biscuits! Used to eat them all the time, many years ago, but was unable to find them until after finding The Vermont Country store! Now I am able to have them any time I wish! April 21, 2015
The Garibaldi biscits were a hit! My brother has enjoyed raisin biscuits since we were kids. Unfortunately, these disappeared from the grocery store shelves years ago. When I saw the Garibaldi biscuits in the Vermont Country Store catalog I sent some (and ordered some for myself, as well) for a holiday and he was absolutely thrilled with them! He shared some with his daughter as well and we can now carry on a raisin biscuit tradition with these tasty biscuits! Thanks Vermont Country Store for bringing back a past treat! April 20, 2015
Not like the original Sorry to say these biscuits were a disappointment. They are dry. There isn't quite enough raisin filling in them; perhaps if there were a little more it may help, but the biscuit is dry also. Something's missing...can't put my finger on it, so to speak. April 18, 2015
LOVE THESE Every time I, eat these I go back to my childhood. This was all I ever ate. They are exactly the way I remembered. Loved them then, and still love them. April 3, 2015
delicious These are very good! I eat them with my coffee in the morning when I don't have time to have a breakfast. I had forgotten all about these biscuits until I happened by them in the catalog. March 23, 2015
Reminds me of childhood When I grew up, mom would buy raisin biscuits as a treat. She'd get them at the grocery store. I wanted to do the same, but they are no longer sold in stores. That was until I saw them in your catalog. Now, I buy them with almost every order I place because we all love them. They are just enough without being too much as a snack or a simple dessert with coffee. We are all so glad you have them!!! March 22, 2015
Favorite raisin cookies These cookies were favorites in my childhood. Haven't sen them in any supermarket. March 20, 2015
