Some people knew them as Garibaldis, others simply as raisin biscuits, but whatever you called these long, flat cookie bars, they surely have been missed since they disappeared from supermarket shelves. Crisp in texture, each not-too-sweet biscuit has a hefty helping of dried currants baked right in, which adds that familiar fruity tartness to every bite. And since a single biscuit measures about 7¼"x 2¾", it's perforated so you can divide it into five easy-to-eat sections. Garibaldi biscuits are the perfect complement to tea, coffee, or ice-cold milk. Each 3.5 oz. package contains 2 long Garibaldi biscuits.

  • A hefty helping of dried currants is baked right in
  • Each package contains 2 biscuits
  • Each biscuit can be broken into 5 easy-to-eat sections
  • Set of 12 packages

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crawford's Garibaldi Biscuits When I was a little girl, my mother and grandmother would buy these cookies for me, called 'Golden Fruit' I believe; and I searched for them for years in every super market in whichever part of the country I was visiting. Then I learned they were no longer being made. On a whim, I searched for them on the internet and was referred to the Vermont Country Store and the Garibaldi Biscuits. Hooray!! Let us hope these will not be discontinued!! This purchase with the BB Bats was like a flash from the past. Thanks, VCS!! October 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yum As always they remind me of my childhood. Don't stop selling them. October 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Garibaldi Biscuits My wife really enjoys these. It reminds her of past times. The 12 pack makes it real convenient. However, when I recently went to reorder, only 5 packs were available as an option and these are much more expensive. I am disappointed in the non-availability of the 12 pack. October 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vintage Memory My Mom is 91 and it is very hard to find a treat for her. She always says " Don't get me anything." I am always listening carefully when she reminisces for ideas. When she was a very young girl in school the teacher had them put their heads down on their desks to rest. When break time was over they would raise their little heads and a raisin cookie was waiting. The way she described the cookie was exactly like the cookies that I order periodically. She loves them and has them in the morning with her coffee.❤️ August 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by sharing childhood I remember eating this cookies as a child and when I "found" them @ Vermont Country store I had to share them w/ my spouse who is now addicted to them. I rarely get 1 or 2 from a package! June 8, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by I'm sad Couldn't wait to try these cookies. What I expected was a soft cookie with chewy raisins. What I got was hard, dry cookie with hard, dry currants that played havoc with my teeth. I was disappointed and sad I didn't get the cookies of my youth. June 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by England, 1973 Tasting these put me right back there! These used to be one of my favorite biscuits. They're delicious... not too sweet, slightly chewy, fun to eat. Thanks for the memories! May 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Raisin biscuits of childhood Delighted to discover these in your catalogue. Fond memory of childhood was awakened. They used to be a wonderful 'not too sweet' cookie which disappeared, but these currant beauties are a perfect replacement. Glad the English don't discard good things . February 19, 2016
