When we discovered that our neighbors had distilled Vermont’s unparalleled maple sap into a fine premium maple liqueur, we knew exactly what to do. Our master chocolatiers hand-rolled thick, dark chocolate shells, then filled them with the maple liqueur. The result is a pure, smooth, and mellow spirited treat. 3.8 oz. box.

  • Thick, extremely rich dark chocolate filled with maple liqueur
  • Maple liqueur is smooth and mellow
  • Vermont has higher maple grading standards than any other state

What happens when two Vermont families team up? The invention of Vermont maple liqueur chocolates.

A small maple explosion in your mouth These are lovely and make a great gift. They are different from your ordinary filled chocolate. The combination of dark chocolate and sweet maple liquer is very nice. December 31, 2013
Strong…. Sent these to a friend. She loved them -great maple flavor but very alcoholic! December 11, 2013
Heavenly By far, these are the best liquor-filled chocolates I've ever tasted. The chocolate shell melts in your mouth, if you have the patience to wait for the liquor's flavor explosion. Which I don't. Mine melt for about 3 seconds then I break open the shell and ENJOY. The liquor could pass for Frangelico, though it does smell like maple syrup. Feels like genuine liquor going down, but the box doesn't display the alcohol content. The box was delivered to my work address, I opened and shared with my work group. Tasted like we were drinking on the job, hee hee. Seriously, buy this candy! October 10, 2013
Chocolates arrived melted with liqueuer all absorbed by the box lining The box of chocolates was delivered to Santa Fe - we opened it in the office and the chocolates had melted and the liqueuer had oozed out and had been absorbed by the top liner paper in the candy box. I sent a box of these to our Boston office, and no one has said anything or thanked us for them, so I think that they must have had a similar situation and didn't want to complain. I won't be ordering these again. I didn't complain, as I didn't have time to do so; it's our incredibly busy season and I just decided to let it go. Most of the time, service from VCS is excellent. Oh my gosh, yummy!! I needed a treat for my husband and ordered a box of these. These succulent little balls are a perfect size to just pop into ones mouth - bite into it and feel the maple syrup flow around in your mouth and meld with the dark chocolate rapture to form an ommmm moment. Indeed, we were begging for more but unfortunately, we were left needing as the box was too small. Delicious morsels that I had to order again for us and then for a friend's coming birthday. You are right! It says you knew what to do when you found maple liqueur glad to tell you,"you were right' these are great. About 20 years ago I developed lactose problems, have had to give up almost all candy. It is pure joy to find one I can have. Thanks March 28, 2013
Get them while they're in season! We live in CA but were born in and are always Vermonters. These chocolates were first offered in 2012, we ordered two boxes. It wasn't enough. We ordered two more, then they were sold out! Has been a long wait to see them available again. The combination of dark chocolate and maple liqueur is simply a treat for the senses. Buy an extra box and tuck it away for a cold fall day. March 21, 2013
