Heaven in a Cup My family visited Ireland a year ago so this Christmas Morning we chose to make a traditional breakfast. We chose this version because it truly tastes like warm milk chocolate. Perfect way to start a day. January 4, 2014
Short cut hot chocolate Thought these Hot Chocolate drops were a great idea. When I prepared some for myself, they were weak, didn't even make an average cup size and had very little flavor. They could probably be used as a "starter" preparation, with lots of help from other ingredients in one's cupboard. Bought quite a few for small Christmas gifts but have no feedback from anyone. Didn't live up to the hype. I have read about these Butler's "heaven in a cup" chocolate "drops" to make real hot chocolate for years. They are so expensive that I held off as long as I could before I finally broke-down and bought them. They arrived in perfect shape and are big and very chocolate-y... however, I feel they didn't live up to the hype of being the best hot cocoa you'll ever have. I thought it was just me, but I made some for family and they agreed. While the flavor is nice and tastes smooth... I think in the future I will use regular baking cocoa and save the money. This in no way reflects on the Vermont Country Store. They are a wonderful store that offers rare and different items... I just don't care for these chocolate "drops." December 8, 2013
Splendid Most satisfied with everything ! March 29, 2013
I was so glad to find these at VCS! I bought a pack of these when I visited Dublin, Ireland..and my only regret was not buying more while I was there. Thankfully I found these on the VCS website. Now I am satisfied I can find these in the good 'ol USA! February 28, 2013
Making a Tradition That's how I explained the Butlers to my grandchildren. Something rich, warm and satisfying. Something where you say, "You have to try this, it's so good!". And their response is, "This is the best hot-chocolate I have ever tasted!". You can't beat that. And they have Irish blood in 'em....so they will 'pass it on' to those they love. February 27, 2013
real hot chocolate very rich - totally different taste than the powedered hot chocolate February 6, 2013
Best hot chocolate ever I first had Butler's chocolate in Dublin, Ireland and was delighted to see that it is available in your catalog around Christmastime. I am a chocolate afficianado, and Butler's makes the best hot chocolate I have ever had. If you can't get to Dublin, try this. January 2, 2013
