Perfection I decided to try these because of the rave reviews they have received. I was not disappointed. They are delicious and very special. I do recommend caution with the first bite, and definitely hold it upright. I lost some of the wonderful brandy while eating my first one. These candies are now a new Christmas tradition in our home! Son-in-law loves this I still make rum balls for Christmas but our one son-in-law also teases about Asbach Balls- on thing I found on line was a cookie recipe (Which I also made for him) but this selection is by far the best to gift him. Thanks you for keeping it in stock. and as always we love to check out your products and love buying them when we are looking for them. January 4, 2014
Best After Dinner Chocolates Ever! As a first time purchaser of this product, I was delighted with the quality and presentation. Quality "adult" chocolates with a bit of brandy and a coffee wafer that melts in your mouth. Chocolate is the primary taste sensation here with a splash of brandy and a dash of coffee. Just delicious with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, or even a glass of wine. The liquid brandy is not overdone so it does not dribble down your hand or chin when you bite into the chocolate like some other brands I have tried. Arrived in perfect condition in a sturdy decorative box suitable for presenting as a gift. (But we ended up eating them all ourselves! Yum!) December 19, 2013
best coffee chocolates I have bought others that are similar but these were much better flavors. December 18, 2013
Delicious!!! I couldn't wait to try these chocolates, but held off buying them until they were on sale. I'm glad that I got some because they are absolutely delicious! I recommend them for sure!! May 21, 2013
Delicious! Every Christmas I look forward to the candy sent to us from my in-laws in Germany. It was a delight to find someplace here in the US that sells the candy year-round. Thanks! April 26, 2013
Really good! I purchased these, along with the cherry cordials and the gold bottles for an adult Easter egg hunt. I've had Asbach chocolates in Germany before, but didn't know until now that they were available in the US, so I had very high expectations and you did not disappoint. They were all fresh and very well-received by everyone involved, a real warming treat for a much colder than normal Easter! April 8, 2013
Excellent adult chocolates! They are a quality chocolate filled with a quality brandy. I serve them after dinner with coffee. My guests love them. I have a stash of non-alcoholic chocolates of similar style and visual appeal for the non-drinkers and under age. It has become a trademark for after dinner at our home. The other night when I was having "a moment" of stress, my husband brought me one holding it in his hand like a surprise, and it gave me a laugh, breaking the mood of tension I had allowed myself to create. The alcohol is minimal but it was the thought that counted. These are a real treat. March 29, 2013
