Old-Time Gums (Box of Twenty 5-Stick Packs)
As a child growing up in Wyoming, I used to walk 3 miles (round trip) to Hines Grocery Store for Beemans chewing gum. The trip was worth every step.
Now (60 years later) WOW!!!

Gum appears to be very old. When you unwrap a piece it (in some cases) remains whole. When we picked it up it felt hard. We squeezed it a little and it began breaking into "shattered" pieces. We opened one of each type and dropped them on the kitchen counter and they broke into several pieces. We placed some of the pieces in our mouths and it was very hard to chew.
We're disappointed. This is our favorite gum from some years back.

My best friend was suffering from acid reflux.
Shared a piece of Beemans Gum and she was immediately relieved. I bought her the 20 pack and she no longer suffers. Thank you for keeping these gums around. I also buy Clove, Black Jack as well as Beemans for my household.

Bubbles from the past
My Pa and I love the gum from our childhoods and I'm so thankful that Vermont Country Store sells them. I feel like a kid again when my mouth enjoys these sweet treats from long ago.

I remember many of these flavors from years past, I have even shared some of these treasured treats with
friends or acquaintances on daily travels and all ask where I found them. I am happy to tell them Vermont Country Store. Some have asked about Teaberry gum, and have had to decline an answer. There are so many items that have disappeared, many to be replaced. The land we live in has changed dramatically over the years, some good and some tearfully forgotten.

My 88 year old Uncles Hunt for Black Jack Gum!!
My Uncle had been looking for Black Jack Gum for many years, I found it at your store, purchased it and sent it to him. He's so happy to have it and to be able to share it with his friends and relatives, your store made his day, week and month...

Never Misses to Please
Black Jack, Beeman's and Clove chewing gums were the crime every child wanted to commit in school--and mostly did. The earthy aroma infused the spirit of the surviving identical twin with Down Syndrome, my daughter Grace Marie, and the flavorful elasticity provided the oral satisfaction that was formerly achieved with a grinding of the teeth or an obvious sinus grunting.
Concentration on progress with academics is the goal for letting an affable little girl chew gum in school;-)
The Marzipanstollen is for my family and Fellowship of Christian Athletes--the best for the best.
I appreciate this "Ma & Pop" store of The Vermont Country. Keep on keepin' on neighbors!

It's a Tradition!
These gums are from my childhood but my grown children and one grandchild enjoy them as much as I did and still do.
Every year I order them at Christmas time as stocking stuffers and every year I get to see the big smiles and hear the joy and laughter when my kids tear into their stockings.
Every year I hold back a few to keep in my clothes drawers...I love the scents...and it's fun.
