Hard Holiday Candy We thought we would try this after Christmas when it went on sale…and when it came we were a little surprised at the size of the tin (smaller than pictured) but were delighted with the flavor of the contents. (none broken either)…we liked it so well we are now on out second tin! It's delicious! March 27, 2014
Old-fashioned candy Brings back memories of the candy my Grandpa always had at Christmas time. March 10, 2014
Christmas Candy My Granddaughter has been wanting the Old fashion Christmas candy and was so happy with this as well as the tin that it came in. She said "It was Beautiful". I do wish you would get the green "Herbal Essence shampoo" back again. I would LOVE to have that. Please let me know if you can. Thank-You Carol Robinson February 25, 2014
Back for More! Last week I ordered the one-pound tin of mixed hard candy. Some of the pieces were broken, which is fine with me because some of the other pieces are too big without breaking them. I have problems with very dry mouth and having little gems like these really helps. That's why I'm back for more tins. I remember having candy like this passed out at the small town theater on the last Saturday matinee before Christmas. They were in small boxes with Santa in his sleigh on them. We all (as young cowboy movie lovers) thought we'd hit the jackpot! That's when Sat. afternoon one or two pictures plus a cartoon cost 10cents! OOOOooo I just found a grape candy ... yumm!! This gift is always a hit! My son-in-law once told me how this candy reminds him of his childhood. He is a military guy who has been deployed seven times and I am happy to give him something to rekindle that childlike smile of his. January 21, 2014
Kids enjoy all varieties I gave this tin of hard candy to a family with children. They loved all the different kinds in the tin, but especially the ribbon candy which is pretty and lasts a long time. The parents monitored their eating so they couldn't go "hog wild" and kill their appetite for meals. January 13, 2014
Brings back Christmas memories! I bought this as a gift for my dad who was reminiscing about receiving this mixture of colorful candy as a child. When he opened the tin -- which was packed full of little lovelies -- he said, "this is it!" The candy was packed well, not broken, not stuck together, with a nice mix of flavors. The tin is lovely, too, with the Vermont Country Store sign in the shop window. Nicely done, folks! January 9, 2014
Christmas Candy Gift Tin I was looking forward to the old fashion look and taste of hard Christmas candies. The candies lack any taste and were mainly broken pieces of multi-colored candy canes. Needless to say this was a disappointment. January 7, 2014
