Handmade by a husband-and-wife team who started their small bakery business with 5 beloved family recipes, kiffles are a flaky Eastern European-style pastry made using layers of buttery dough that’s rolled thin and then filled with meaty, hand-ground walnuts, tangy apricot preserves, or sweet raspberry jam. The approx. 3" long kiffles are folded into a classic bowtie shape. No shortcuts are taken when it comes to making kiffles; instead, they are made fresh daily with plenty of pure butter and baked until tender and golden—just for you. One dozen kiffles per 10.4 oz. box.

To ensure oven-to-door freshness, this item is shipped via 2-Day Express on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to street addresses in the contiguous U.S. only. Orders placed after 6:01 a.m. ET on Mondays will ship on Tuesday. Orders placed after 11:00 p.m. ET on Monday will ship on Wednesday. Orders received after 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesdays will ship the following Monday. Gift wrap not available.

These kiffles arrived in the mail really fast and were just from the bakery.....and I couldn't believe the taste.....the recipe was EXACTLY the same as those cookies from the 50's my Mom made! I might as well have closed my eyes and was once again six years old sitting under the family Christmas tree with Fred Waring playing on the record player and my mouth full of kiffles right out of Mom's oven. Thank you so much for the memories. This was a treasure. P.S. My Eastern European Baba and my grandma made these...we called them "mini nut rolls" but this is exactly what they tasted like...down to the tart apricot filling and rolling them out with powdered sugar.
