Easter's Past These egg's brought me down memory lane to when I was a Girl Scout! Every spring we made these to give to our parents. Through the years, the one I made was lost in a move. For Easter this year, I ordered 4 so I could share the past with my mother and sister's. They were amazed with the craftsmanship put into this by the Vermont Country Store! Although ours were made with Love from a very talented Leader Mrs. H, we put this in memory of her, through you. Thank you April 14, 2015
Easter Revisited I bought this egg for my grandson who is 7. I saw the look of wonder when he saw it. Awesome, was his response! I am sure it will be up on the mantle with all the other special Easter things. When my own adult children saw it, they had smiles on their faces and started stories of past years! My boys told about looking at their special eggs, that were supposed to be saved and started talking about eating them. After a few minutes discussion, the eggs were devoured. Mom never knew until much later! So now it will be fun to see how long this special Easter Egg lasts. April 14, 2015
As sweet as can be Whenever I want to find something I used to have when I was younger but is no longer available in stores, I always come to the Vermont Country Store to find it, and I always do! I had one of these sugar eggs when I was a little girl and wanted one for my Easter display. I only found one in a store that was of poor quality. So I went to my trusty catalog and there it was! When it arrived I was thrilled because it is a nice size and the workmanship is excellent. This egg will remain a part of my Easter table for years to come! April 10, 2015
