Not perfect but Wonderful! Sour Balls bring back lots of great memories. One of my favorites was reaching in a pocket to get a glove one a very cold day on top of Mt Washington in NH and coming up with a cherry sour ball. It made the gorgeous view even better. These are not quite as sour as I remember but mabe my tastebuds have aged. Everythig seems sweeter these days. I have ordered a second bag :>) January 4, 2013
So Disappointed I was anxiously anticipating the arrival of my sour balls. Was I diappointed. First of all, they are NOT sour. Secondly, there is NO fruit flavor. We did a blindfold taste test and no one could guess what color they were eating. (Notice I say color,not flavor.) OH, and even though there are supposed to be 5 colors, half of mine were yellow (lemon?). December 11, 2012
Grandma Betty's Sourballs Grandma Betty is 95 years old this year. I did not grown up near grandma. We would see each other 7 times a year. Four times a year she visited our house and three times a year we visited hers. On her kitchen table set a pedestal candy dish with sourballs. Every time we visited or she visited, my brothers and I were allowed to take two pieces of candy home with us for the car ride home. I would pick green (lime) for my first piece and purple (grape) for my second piece. Five years ago my grandma moved in with my parents, out of her house of 60+ years. We haven't been able to find sour balls for her since she moved. This year my Christmas present to her are the Hard Sour Balls from your store.
