Not as pictured in catalog I immediately sent an e-mail and was refunded my money, so that is a definite plus - you run your company well! BUT, this product and it's photos are deceptive - the pieces of walnuts are very very tiny and almost imperceptible when you eat them. I was looking for big hunks of walnuts and a little chocolate - but got just the opposite. March 1, 2013
Disappointed Love black walnuts and they are hard to find so when I saw your ad and they were covered with dark chocolate I was thrilled. I was disappointed because I really don't get the taste of the black walnut at all, I believe it is because the pieces are too small. I would never order them again. February 8, 2013

this was awful For the first time, I am dissappointed in Vermont Country Store's product. I purchased this product for the holidays, first of all it did not look like the picture or discription and more importantly, it tasted awful-had a chemical taste (maybe from the bag??) The picture and verbiage shows walnuts not pieces- what was in the bag was tiny pieces, liked chopped walnuts.I was not the only person who said the taste was off, my husband and daughter both tried them and said they tasted off. I waffled on buying these or the hard Christmas candy. Guess I should have gone with the hard candy. Not sure I'll try food items from you again. January 10, 2013

Really delicious I used the Dark-chocolate covered Black walnuts in a recipe for cookie bars instead of the chocolate covered peanuts it called for. The bars are delicious. January 4, 2013
