Beware: this candy is addicting I love puff candy (we called it fairy food in Wisconsin). Every time I saw it in the catalog I would tell myself, maybe next time. Well, I finally ordered a bag. old memories I am from northern Wisconsin and was born and raised in a log cabin. This candy was a huge treat for us since we were poor but didn't know it at the time. We only got it at Christmas and hoarded our pieces as long as possible. It came along with the only orange we got all year in our Christmas stocking. I have wonderful memories of those times and have looked for this candy for years. Finally a friend of mine told me she thought you had it and gave me one of her old catalogs. This is a great candy! I first tasted this wonderful confection in a small candy shop 'down town', years ago in Bangor, Maine while in high school. It is hard to find now, especially in the dark chocolate, though I have looked for it in candy shops over the years, usually under the name 'molasses sponge.' I just received my order a few days ago, and it's even better than I recalled...that wonderful molasses crunch covered with creamy dark chocolate. Alas, it's gone already, so I'm ordering more.
