Disappointed Long story short: Rumballs were too 'Rummy', they were stale tasting and some were hard. Nothing at all like the Rumballs I've had in the past. I bought them to share at Christmas and even gave boxes as gifts. However, no one enjoyed them #myself included# and those whom I gave boxes to had left them behind, unopened. I've never been so embarrssed. I am returning the remaining unopened boxes. January 13, 2013

Very small and not very good These are nothing like real rum balls. They're small (about the size of marbles), with hard chocolate "topping" all around and kind of chewy inside ... but not in a good way. I love chocolate and I love rum balls but I cannot make myself eat these, and I would certainly never serve them to guests (which was what they were purchased for! To share at Christmas). This is definitely a case of "if it sounds too good to be true ..." Don't waste your hard earned money. January 10, 2013
Dry and old I was expected top quality, but ended up with old and stale. I plan on returning this purchase as soon as I get the boxes back from the people to whom I gave them as gifts. January 7, 2013
Disappointed My son has loved rum balls his whole life so when I found out he and his family were coming up for Christmas I went on line to look for some to give him. I noticed he wasn't eating them like he normally does. When they left on Monday I saw that he had left two unopened boxes of the Jaka Jamaica Rummy's and half a box that was opened. He also left half a box of uneaten Donkers Rumkransies, rum wreaths. I was so disappointed. I can't eat them as I am a recovered alcoholic. He called when they arrived home in Florida and I asked why he left them and he said the rum balls were dry and he didn't care for the rum wreaths. What a waste! January 2, 2013
Yummy My family's favorite bakery closed some time age. We all missed the wonderful rum balls that decorated their beautiful cakes. When I saw the picture I was sure they were the very rum balls we missed so much. Well, they were almost the same. The major difference was the crispy shell between the sprinkles and the filling. The taste, however, is as close to identical as can be. Delicious! December 29, 2012
Delicious Little Balls of Rum I have never been a huge rum ball fan because most I've tried had an overpowering rum flavor which I did not enjoy. These little balls were perfect. They are the perfect size, are nice an soft in the center, and have the wonderful flavor of Jamaican rum without overpowering the candy. Love these. December 20, 2012
