Penny Store Candy Memories
I have looked at the Storekeepers Surprise bag for some time and finally decided to order it and see if it was like the candy that I use to go to the penny candy store and buy when I was a child. I loved it....those memories came back and I enjoyed the sweetness of times past.

Disappointment of the week. No, maybe the month.
I assumed when the candies arrived they would be in the pictured golden presentation bag. Oh no. Loose in a mailing package. The pictured Bit-of-honey, Mary Jane's and a peanut butter piece were not to be found. There was one carmel round with white in the center, which was hard as a rock.
If the bag had been included, then the poor selection could be blamed on YOUR judgement.
It's a great idea, but come on include things that people recognize. At that price, a gold bag is a necessity.

It was Just OK
I expected more variety, there were a lot of the unwrapped chocolates, not one Mary Jane and only one Bit-O-Honey. I thought for sure it would contain the candies that were in the pictures. But this selection was far from it.

It is a wonderful surprise.
I just love to get these surprise packages and this one did not disappoint it have a great mix of anything you would want from their candy section. Will buy again for sure.

not the best...
I was disappointed to find unwrapped and wrapped candies mixed together, and then to find most of the teeny tiny ones (gold and colored wrappers) were soft, as older candies would be, rather than hard...it appeared they had just gotten warm, possibly?
Just not a good assortment either...
but some of it we did enjoy...so no worries...just probably wouldn't take a chance on this again!

What a mess!
I was hoping for a less expensive way to enjoy a variety of the enticing candies advertised in your catalog without having to commit to the large quantities I'd have to purchase of any single kind. What I got was a soggy mess of unwrapped chocolates and other things mixed with wrapped candies that appeared to have been scooped from the dregs of their respective jars. Many of the unwrapped candies were unidentifiable, and many of the wrapped candies were so soggy and miserable as to be completely unappetizing. A complete waste of money and terribly disappointing.
