What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Jordan Almonds (7 oz. Box) …
"These Jordan Almonds are exactly like what used to be essential movie-going fare in the 1960s. They're not too sweet; they're not too hard; their colors are the perfect pastel Jordan Almonds should be. They're perfect. Eat only 2 or 3 at a time and feel happy for hours that you've had an all-around treat: color, crunch, flavor. Heavenly!" - Penny, Washington, DC
"The pastel is perfect, the crunch is just right, and the combined almond and sugar flavor is to die for. These almonds are identical to those long-lost Jordans that were a mainstay at the movies in the 1960s, the perfect accompaniment to the dark theater, the flickering light, the images on the screen. One or two of these Jordan Almonds at a time will set you up for the whole day. How perfect can a candy get!" - Penny, Washington, DC
"Every Easter my parents gave us some Jordan Almonds and we loved them. Since beginning my friendship with The Vermont Country Store and browsing the catalog one day, I discovered that Jordan Almonds were an offered item. Since trying them, there is absolutely no going back. My 89-year-old mother is so in love with these, the crunch, the freshness of the almond, the subtle hint of something, maybe rosewater, that it has become a regular snack throughout the year. My godson, now 27, loved this candy since he was old enough to have hard candy. He is a Marine, very particular to detail in all aspects of his life, loves these almonds. There is no substitute. I have searched for the perfect Jordan Almond and I have found it." - Roger Haddad, Shrewsbury, MA
"Have been eating Jordan Almonds since I was a young child. My mom loved them, and I joined her in that love. These are so superior to what's available now and what has been available for many years. These almonds have such a thin sugar shell that you aren't overwhelmed by a mouthful of concentrated hard sugar coating. Almonds inside are huge. Very, very good flavor. Wish they were offered in a larger bag." - Beverly, Henderson, NC
"I never thought I'd ever see authentic French Creams again! Mom always ordered a box from Sears for the Christmas Holidays when I was a child. Thin, glittery sugar crust and the most delicious flavors. I stumbled on these a year ago during Thanksgiving holiday and immediately ordered them. Had to just to see if they were anything like I remembered as a child. These are very good, though the fruit flavors could be more intense...citrus should be tart sweet. I remember a rose water pale pink rose in the Sears boxes and would love to see that brought into the assortments. By the way, I had Googled "French Cream Makers" for three years and emailed, done live chat, etc., even with a candy maker in France. No one ever heard of them. Ironic, yes? " - Beverly Blake, Henderson, NC
