GREAT SERVED COLD WITH A SCOOP OF ICECREAM ATOP My grandchildren love the waffles served with their choice of a scoop of ice cream on top. They like the crunch of the hardened sugar especially with chocolate chip ice cream on top. One likes vanilla ice cream with strawberry perserves on top. Their own special come to grandma treat. It's like a return to Brussels In 2002 we went to Holland to Floriade , a once every 10 years special event. Our first stop was Brussels Belgium, where we were introduced to their waffles. FANTASTIC. They were really great and it has taken a long time to be able to find them here but Vermont Country Store has them. December 18, 2012
