What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Baked Fresh Potica Loaf …
"I grew up with this delicious bread." - Patricia Hill, Hutchinson, MN
"I ordered a Walnut Potica from the Christmas catalogue for my cousin and her family who live in Boston, Massachusetts. They shared it at a family gathering on Christmas Eve and said it was delicious. There is no way I could pull myself together during the holiday season to make a potica. Thank you for making the Eastern European favorite available." - Lois Kubit, Parma, OH
"Your potica is just as I remember my grandma's to be. It's not easy to make, which makes me appreciate yours even more. With your help, I've been able to pass along a family holiday tradition. Thanks!" - Karen, Charlotte,
"I was born and raised in Euclid, Ohio, and i used to help my grandmother who came from Slovenia,Yugslavia... and how I loved being with her and remembering my favorite thing in the whole world to eat was potica. It took a day to make. Yours is delicious, and thank you for the memories. Linda" - linda mervar, menlo park, CA
"Seeing this in your catalog brought back memories for me. My grandmother was from Yugoslavia and used to make this as well for my family. I can't wait to try yours and compare the two." - Richard Fabian, Rochester, NY
"My mother and I used to make potica for every special occasion. It required a devotion to the process for the whole day. This potica is exactly like the wonderful ones that we used to make. Basic ingredients and flavorful goodness that are so much appreciated and loved. Thanks for sticking with tradition." - Jo Smallwood, Newport Beach, CA
"I am a Slovenian from Ohio, and my mother made this every year and filled the dough so full you couldn't see the layers. Yours is very good and my family likes it, which means I don't have to do any of the work. It's a two-day process of love. I order it every year. Thanks! Barb" - Barbara G. Joslin, Punta Gorda, FL
"I've been ordering your potica for several years now. My mother is Slovenian but moved from Pueblo, Colorado, to Indiana when she married my father. Potica was always a part of our trips home, but neither my mother nor I ever made one. Now I share yours with her and her friends at her nursing home at Christmas. It's like going home for the holidays." - Jan Armstrong, Springville, IN
"Grew up in Cleveland, OH. In Georgia 47 years now. Mom's side was Slovenian, and homemade Potica was a part of every holiday and celebration. I have a cousin in Cleveland who just sent me three loaves for my freezer - made with the walnuts and mine HAS TO HAVE raisins. She has the BEST source from an elderly Slovenian lady. Anytime I get a visitor from up there I tell them to bring Potica. LOVE THE STUFF. Thanks." - Claudette Mazurkiewicz, Grayson, GA
