THANK YOU for bringing back these wonderful things!!! When I saw "authentic Lemon Coolers" advertised in the catalog and promised to be just like they used to be, I knew I HAD to have them. For years and years I have been utterly baffled as to the inexplicable disappearance of these magnificent, powdery, citrus confections...there was and has been nothing to equal them, 'til now! Leave it to the VCS to bring back that which should never have left in the first place. ;) The only thing I do wish is that they could have been packaged in a more familiar-looking green box, because the tray is more difficult to reseal. In order to maintain freshness, I stretched some plastic wrap over most of the tray. Not that they lasted all that long, of course...eventually there were enough to just place into a bowl with an airtight lid. Now, if only there were a Vermont Country Store here in NJ at which I could regularly stock up on these and other nostalgic goodies. So much tangy lemony powder and crumbly cookie aweomeness! Do not hesitate to get these and show the world that Lemon Coolers are still among the best treats ever invented! January 23, 2013
More than 5 stars!! My son grew up chowing down those lemon coolers with bits of lemon and confectioners sugar which are not available anymore. I took a chance and bought the "VCS" lemon coolers (two boxes just in case they were a hit). I wish I had a picture of his face when he opened the box at Christmas. It was like looking at the once little boy again who loved lemon coolers. He gave the cookies thumbs up all the way and was I happy I bought a back-up box!! He's a police officer and said they were better than any doughnut!! LOL January 6, 2013

New Christmas in Wisconsin I received your catalog addressed to the previous owner of our new home. My family is from Michigan and looking through the catalog, I remembered so many things we used to eat as kids and never see around any more. I bought the cookies along with several other yummy delights, split them up and shared them with the younger generations in our family, as well as sending some to my Dad who was amazed and delighted.
