Some people knew them as Garibaldis, others simply as raisin biscuits, but whatever you called these long, flat cookie bars, they surely have been missed since they disappeared from supermarket shelves. Crisp in texture, each not-too-sweet biscuit has a hefty helping of dried currants baked right in, which adds that familiar fruity tartness to every bite. And since a single biscuit measures about 7¼"x 2¾", it's perforated so you can divide it into five easy-to-eat sections. Garibaldi biscuits are the perfect complement to tea, coffee, or ice-cold milk. Each 3.5 oz. package contains 2 long Garibaldi biscuits.

  • A hefty helping of dried currants is baked right in
  • Each package contains 2 biscuits
  • Each biscuit can be broken into 5 easy-to-eat sections
  • Set of 12 packages

Find old-fashioned treats that are still as tasty and wholesome as always at The Vermont Country Store. Garibaldi Biscuits are a perfect complement to tea, coffee, or ice-cold milk.

a taste of childhood I have always loved these biscuits! I hadn't had these since I was a child in NH, but finally found them at the Vermont store. Thank you for a sweet that isn't too sweet! March 17, 2015
Excellent in every way but pricey When I was a little girl my Mom bought these raisin biscuits. They seemed much healthier than the sugar filled types of cookies. Then when I had my children I bought them for them. But as the time passed they disappeared from the grocery shelves. They no longer made them. As i scanned one of the Country Store catalogues, there they were. I love them so I order a case at a time. But I must say, I feel they are rather expensive. Obviously I feel they are worth it. They taste the same as they did when I was little.....and that was a very long time ago March 5, 2015
Oh My Biscuit!!! I have looked for these biscuits for years. I feel lucky to have found them again. They taste exactly the same as they did when I was younger, better even!!! I have shared them with my children, just as I did when they were babies. They were one of the first cookies they had as small children. Thank you Vermont Country Store. January 12, 2015
My Husband says these are the best cookies ever!!!!! We have looked in all the stores for years for these cookies. We didn't know why they stopped making them. Maybe the company went out of business or changed it's name. When I saw these in your magazine I ordered them for husband for Christmas! He was more than happy with these cookies!!!! Thank you, Vermont Country Store!!! January 8, 2015
Memories of my Grandmother I couldn't believe that I found these biscuits in the Vermont Country Store catalog. I haven't seen them anywhere in years. This is my second time ordering them, and they are delicious. My Grandmother introduced me to them, and I have many great memories of eating them with her in her kitchen when I was a little girl. Thanks for the memories. January 7, 2015
A Great Blast From the Past My husband is a creature of habit in many ways, and one of those ways is eating favorites. When we were first married we could buy these biscuits at the grocery story. Then they disappeared. He was so disappointed. When I saw them available at the Vermont Country Store I was thrilled, but I had no idea they would end up being his most talked about gift! He was like a kid with candy. They wil be part of our Christmas tradition from now on. January 2, 2015
