Made with premium Seville oranges—a bitter orange with a rough, thick skin and extremely tart flesh—the preferred orange when it comes to making marmalades as they add that delicious tanginess that makes for a top-notch marmalade. This easy-to-make mix is imported from England, where marmalade is king, so you know it’s of the highest quality and will not lack in tart orange flavor. Each can contains 28 ounces of thinly sliced Seville oranges, enough to make 6 pounds of sweet, spreadable marmalade. A black deposit is often present on the lid and/or can. This is due to a high concentration of citric acid and will not affect the marmalade. There may also be small white specks which are natural deposits of seville bitter oranges which will dissolve upon boiling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tastes like home We both love marmalade, but it is hard to get the Seville orange marmalade here. Then I saw the MaMade marmalade mix in your catalog and it reminded me that my mother used to make hers with that product. It is so much easier and faster than trying to find Seville oranges, peeling and shredding them and then making the jam. MaMade is easy and fast and delicious, and it reminds me of home.
