Rated 5 out of 5 by I Flipped! (excuse the pun!) I remember these from when I was a little girl! They taste just like I remember with the banana flavor, but even better! They are kind of expensive, or I would be tempted more often. But they arrived in clamshell packaging, all intact. They had scooted around some from their rough and tumble journey, but it was fine. They are so awesome I ate most of one while trying to make my cup of coffee to eat with it! So.. I had another! Recommended! September 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Delicious dessert that reminds me of my childhood We used to spend every summer at the local pool. On our way to the pool, I, along with my brothers and sisters, would stop at the local convenience store to pick up snacks for the day. Much of it was what we called penny candy. But my favorite pastry to pick up was a banana flip (25 cents). These taste very much like those, although much more expensive and probably less preservatives. I grew up in the midwest. Nobody out here in Oregon has ever heard of these. They don't know what they missed. September 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Way expensive, but Way worth it Coming up on age 70, I longed for the taste of the creme turnovers at the local store, with a coke or RC cola. The Banana flips offered by Vermont Country Store are the closest thing to it, and ultra tasty. The creme filing has the same consistency and the sponge cake is exactly the same. If only they could eliminate the banana flavoring, they would be perfect. They are expensive, but bigger than the originals. The packaging could be improved because four of them are arranged together wrapped in Saran wrap and way too much of the creme sticks to the saran wrap and is very difficult to salvage. I shared with my family and friends and everyone loves them. If you need a little taste of nostalgia, you need to buy some now while you can.-Jim May 10, 2016
