Quality of workmanship has changed
I had purchased this MuuMuu a couple of year ago (and still wear it), and loved the comfort as well as the quality of the fabric and construction, so I decided to buy it again from Vermont Country Store before it would be discontinued. I ordered it along with another MuuMuu, and was not happy with the workmanship (border pattern at the yoke was not even) of the other MuuMuu. Because, I was so completely happy with my old Blossom-Border MuuMuu, I didn't think to had to check out its construction, before I returned the other one to be exchanged. When I did start to wash the Blossom-Border MuuMuu, before wearing it, because it had an unpleasant odor (as did the one I returned, I saw that inside one sleeve was not finished all around and part of the un-encased (french-seamed) seam was unravelled. Rather than sending it back, I repaired/sewed it myself. It appears to me, that Vermont Country Store has changed vendors for these particular products, which, regrettably, makes me leary of ordering similar clothinng products in the future.
