Rubber Roses Swim Cap
Great swim cap!
I swim laps several days a week at my local YMCA. The latex caps that most swimmers wear are uncomfortable and too small. They always ride up above my ears. I think they're useless. I've been looking for a long time for a suitable cap, and the Rubber Roses Swim Cap is absolutely wonderful. It fits great, covers my ears and keeps my hair pretty dry. I will definitely be ordering more.

Sadly there was a problem with my new swim cap, but I came out a happy customer, completely satisfied.
I've been lap swimming regularly for the last 6 or 7 years, and have been repeatedly disappointed by dozens of swim caps I've purchased online. I have long hair and a big head, and all the caps that I've tried have been ugly and ill-fitting. The swim cap at the Vermont Store has great style and fit, even over all my long hair (tightly twisted in a bun). I put hair conditioner on when I swim, and finally, this was the perfect cap that provided the snug protection I needed to keep the conditioner in and the chlorine out. My ideal---but!! the first day out of the pool the inside white-rubber edging came off that keeps the cap snug around my head. It still worked somewhat, far better than all the others, but it wouldn't stay put without repeated tugging. I was so impressed with customer service---gracious and helpful in the extreme. A replacement was happily sent right away, with assurances that this was unusual for this product. Free shipping, no hassle. And I have more confidence than ever in the Vermont Store, that if for any reason there are problems in the future, or if they happen to get a bad batch of some item, I'll be taken care of. It's rare to have a shopping experience that is backed by a feeling of trust and not dread---as we all know, at some point Murphy's law inevitably strikes, despite our best efforts. I hate being a complainer, and hate even more having to follow through on a problem; the the Vermont Store made it a pleasure and left a smile on my face. How often does that happen. Thank you so much, for a great cap, but more so, for the thoughtful care of your customers---which I'll be for life.
